Perimeter Software was building internet software for organizations before most of today's AI agencies' founders had email addresses.
The story
Perimeter Software Corporation was founded in 1994 in Texas. By the early 2000s it was shipping commercial SaaS — online event registration, ticketing, membership, and giving platforms — for organizations across the country, back when "software as a service" didn't have a name yet.
In the two decades since, its founder built and ran technology platforms serving hundreds of companies: an AI-driven prospect intelligence engine that finds, scores, and ranks a market before a salesperson touches it, and a workforce platform that runs hiring and operations for some of the busiest event operations in the country.
In 2023, Perimeter Software relaunched with a single focus: bring that production-grade AI and automation to mid-sized businesses — the companies with the most to gain from it and the least access to teams who can actually build it. Today that means two things: fixed-bid AI and web development, and prospect scoring and ranking infrastructure that a client's own team runs after we hand it over.
The founder
- 30+ years building and selling software — a rare blend of engineering depth and enterprise sales leadership: opened a regional sales office for a major dev-tools company and landed 75 new enterprise customers in the first nine months.
- Founded and ran Perimeter Software for two decades, shipping commercial SaaS as early as 2001 — an online ticketing and registration platform sold to 30+ clients and in production for eight years.
- Two-time technical co-founder of AI platform companies — prospect intelligence and workforce automation — bootstrapped from the first line of code to production revenue with no outside capital, serving 400+ companies and tens of thousands of workers.
- Hands-on with modern AI: neural-net scoring in production since 2020, LLM agent systems in production since 2023, backed by three UT Austin McCombs post-graduate AI certificates (Machine Learning, NLP, and AI Agents).
- Production-grade discipline: SOC 2 compliance programs, multi-tenant architecture audited clean in buyer-side M&A due diligence.
